年美国木材出口首次突破亿美元鼓励

Andy Johnson发表在《木工络》的文章称“2014年美国硬木出口总量较2013年增长13%，至16.5亿板英尺；出口总额较上年增长26%，达23.3亿美元。这两项均打破了以往历史记录。硬木木材和原木出口总额也首次突破30亿美元。”

2014年，木材出货量跃居到前20名出口产品市场的第17位，其中中国、越南、墨西哥、爱沙尼亚、以色列、阿联酋和澳大利亚的木材进口量均破记录。在出口量最多的12个木材品种中，仅硬枫木出货量较2013年有所减少。白杨木、白蜡木、胡桃木和核桃木出口总量均打破往年记录。

以极优惠的价格中标为苏联民航公司运输发动机到火车站；又从谍报局的关系户那里借来一辆大货车U.S. hardwood lumber exports totaled 117 million board feet in December, which was 16% below the prior month but 21% above the previous December record set in 2013. Total 2014 exports were up 13% in volume from 2013 levels (to 1.65 billion board feet) and 26% in value (to $2.33 billion), both of which shattered previous records. The combined value of hardwood lumber and log exports surpassed $3 billion for the first time.

Lumber shipments increased to 17 of the Top 20 markets in 2014, including record volumes to China, Vietnam, Mexico, Estonia, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Australia. Among the 12 most exported species, only Hard Maple shipped in smaller volumes last year than in 2013. Poplar, Ash, Walnut and Hickory exports all set annual records.

January was a relatively slow month for North American hardwood exports, and reports indicate February was even slower. Lunar New Year celebrations brought Chinese purchasing to a standstill during the second half of the month, and Vietnamese and Malaysian markets also slowed. European demand remained depressed despite the euro’s leveling against the U.S. dollar. Reports about Middle Eastern markets were mixed. Shipments to Mexico were fairly good.
